‘Exploring a Relational Paradigm to Navigate Cultural Complexity’ – the first part of the current issue of the Interculture Journal has been published and was launched at the international symposium in Jena on 25 September 2025.
Alongside contributions from Jürgen Bolten (translated by Dr. Peter James Witchalls), Kenneth Gergen, Bayo Akomolafe, Prof Helen Spencer-Oatey, Julika Baumann Montecinos, Milton J. Bennett, Tobias Grünfelder, Josef Wieland, Sabine Aydt, Rafael Mollenhauer and Margret Steixner, the issue presents a kaleidoscope of conceptual and practical perspectives on the potentials of a relational paradigm. Consistently relational, innovative approaches to cultural complexity, theoretical and methodological in-depth analyses and highly relevant application examples offer insights into current research and practice on this promising topic.
The two editors of the journal, Christoph Vatter and Dominic Busch, together with guest editors Julika Baumann Montecinos, Tobias Grünfelder and Prof. Dr. Kirsten Nazarkiewicz (not pictured), are thrilled about this issue, which is now available open access: https://journals.uni-jena.de/ij/issue/view/6

„Exploring a Relational Paradigm to Navigate Cultural Complexity” – der erste Teil der aktuellen Themenausgabe des Interculture Journals ist veröffentlicht und wurde bei der Internationalen Fachtagung am 25. September 2025 in Jena präsentiert.
Entlang verschiedener Beiträge spannt die Ausgabe ein Kaleidoskop an konzeptionellen und praktischen Perspektiven auf die Potenziale eines relationalen Paradigmas auf. Konsequent relational gedachte innovative Zugänge zu kultureller Komplexität, theoretische und methodische Tiefenbohrungen und höchst relevante Anwendungsbeispiele bieten Einblicke in aktuelle Forschung und Praxis zu diesem zukunftsträchtigen Thema.
